Castle Dargan Golf Course, scheduled to open this summer, is sure to establish itself as a firm favourite with golfers who appreciate an understated yet charismatic test of golf. The new course forms part of the reincarnation of the 200 acre estate that lies on the outskirts of Sligo Town, a place once beloved of the poet Yeats for what he perceived as the ‘romance of two ruined castles facing one another across a little lake’.
